Works well with my iPad and my 15" MacBook Air. I don't often use my MacBook for long periods of time, but when I do it's nice to elevate the screen so I"m not staring down. The stand is stable and supports my laptop well. I use a separate keyboard and mouse to type on it, but it would be stable enough to type on at a shallower angle.My main purpose for buying this was to have a stable stand for my iPad in the kitchen when I use it to cook. I tried several other stands that would tip over or bounce when pressing the iPad screen. This stand is totally stable and and works great. As a bonus- the magnetic puck on it works great to stick the stand to my refrigerator when it's not in use.I'm considering buying an additional stand for my home desk, as this would just slide away in a drawer. I have a much larger stand that takes up a lot of room and isn't often used.

Anti slip stickers low adhesion.
The anti slip stickers, when it got warm from the heat if my laptop, kept sliding off along with my laptop. They should have just made the ends with grooved rubber. I threw those stickers away & bought heavy duty grip tape and rewrapped each part and works alright. I wish I bought a smaller laptop stand that just lays under the keyboard.
