It makes good coffee fast. I got this to take on road trips so I can make the coffee I like from my motel room. Nice that it comes with a divider to make a smaller pour, but I don't see myself ever making less than a full pot. You just pour water in the base, put espresso powder in the basket, and turn it on. You do need to turn it off when it's done, or it will keep heat-cycling and probably burn itself out. But I mean it's as easy to clean as it is easy to use, and you get a nice strong coffee in minutes.
