I like this product; I just sit in front of the monitor and the light turns on automatically, so I don't have to worry about turning it off. Plus, my eyes appreciate it.

Maybe it's just me, but I was hoping for more light output from this, beaucase I wanted to be able to use this when the rest of my office lights. My monitor light I have home is a lot better, but it's no longer available. That one has a button on the side, so no need to long hold or short hold any button.

I've tried several monitor light bars in the last few years, and this is by far the best of the pack while being one of the least expensive. It provides more than enough light, is easy to mount and use, and has no flicker. It offers 3 color temperatures that should meet the preferences of most any user (I prefer the daylight, 6000K setting) and is dimmable to produce just the right amount of light without glare. The addition of the motion sensor ensures that it turns on as soon as it detects movement and stays on for 10 minutes after the last movement is detected, so it switches off automatically after you leave the space. The minimalist look is almost unnoticeable, and installation is easy and it does not move or wobble like others I've tried.I wish I'd found this light bar some time ago... it would have saved me a lot of money and discontent. I recommend this without reservation and plan to order another for my other desk.

This is a nice monitor light. I never really liked this before but figured I'd give it a try, and I was surprised that its actually useful, although I still don't consider this to be a must-have accessory. This gives you a bit more light that the monitor itself and once properly adjusted there will be no glare on your display. It's also quite stable once you adjust it and get it fit in place. There are several different brightness/color temperature options as well. I do wish that this had a built-in mount for a webcam though. However this is a decent deal at $35.

I must be missing out on something... why do I need a light above my monitor? My monitors put out plenty of light for my keyboard, mouse, and notepad, so I don't feel the need to augment that. And yet... I love this light!I got it for a completely off-label use... to light up the controls of my karaoke system amplifier. And it works SO WELL for that! I have a "will travel" karaoke system that often finds itself inside dimly lit venues, where I struggle to KJ while fumbling with the volume, tone, and reverb controls for each mike. This light stays plugged in (as it has to be) but only lights up when I approach or wave my hand to adjust the controls. It really couldn't have worked out better... the light fully illuminates the control panel, so it's easy to do my job. I do use the lowest brightness level as it's only an inch away from the amplifier.I prefer the warm light, too, so I appreciate the ability to adjust both the intensity and white temperature. This was the perfect size for my amplifier and stand.I'm sure it would be great too when used for its normal purpose.Definitely recommend.
