I use the 1" size on chair legs to prevent scrubbing marks on my laminate. They have been working well since the original pads wire away many years ago.I found that these pads were a bit thicker than the last brand that I had installed so I needed to replace two on the same side of the chair to keep it from tipping.I find that the pads on the front legs wear more quickly so if I weren't trying to be frugal I would just replace all four at the same time.I found that these were 48 pcs for 8.99 yo be about half the price of other brands. The wool felt feels dense so I hope it will wear wellTime will tell.

Product description edit
I have no comment on the quality of the pads. Buyers of the 48 piece 1.5” value pack should be aware that the product description is wrong. The value pack comes with 40 1” pieces and 8 1.5” pieces. This can be very disappointing when the product review says 48 pieces of 1.5”.
